The Zanzibar Reset

A Retreat for Nervous System Healing, Inner Peace & Authentic Connection

Guided by Susanne Nebel (Dr phil) and Naomi Fuchs-Nebel (MSc)
Mother–Daughter Retreat Facilitators:
A powerful blend of wisdom and intuition, experience and freshness, grounding and heart.

The Zanzibar Reset is a polyvagal-informed retreat for individuals experiencing stress, trauma, or nervous system exhaustion.

Led by a mother-daughter team with deep experience in yoga, trauma-sensitive guidance, and nervous system regulation, we gently accompany you back to a sense of safety, softness, and inner connection—on the healing island of Zanzibar.

Through embodied practices, breathwork, movement, and deep rest, we invite you to experience a reset—free from pressure, entirely at your own pace.

In our often demanding daily lives, body and mind can quickly fall out of balance. Chronic stress, anxiety, overwhelm, and inner tension may become ingrained—the nervous system remains in a state of alert.

In this retreat, we combine mindful bodywork, elements of polyvagal therapy, gentle yoga, and effective mindfulness and breathing techniques to guide your nervous system gently toward safety and relaxation.

You will learn:

  • How your nervous system responds to stress—and how to support it
  • Practices to shift from tension and restlessness into calm and stability
  • Breathing techniques, mindful movement, and small rituals to strengthen you in everyday life
  • How to reconnect with your body and your own needs

We work in a mindful, respectful atmosphere—without pressure, without performance—always at your own rhythm.
